Augie has been writing comics since he was very young. The concept of Super Potato came about when Augie was in sixth grade. The decision to publish a book about this splendiferous spud happened in 2024 in pursuit of a grant that would make it all possible. This book is made possible by a Creative Excellence Accelerator grant from the Greater Philadelphia Cultural Alliance and the Pennsylvania State Council on the Arts.
